Scale while preserving aspect ratio: ???

The purpose of this tool is to help users scale images based on the size a known object in the photo so the image displayed is an actual 1:1 representation of the real life item. In the default image that loads on this page, the known object is an American quarter, scale the image up or down until it matches exactly with a quarter you hold up to your monitor. Once the quarter in the image matches the size of the quarter in your hand, you will be seeing a scaled image, meaning the item on the screen is the same size in real life.

You can also use this tool to help compensate for a skewed aspect ratio by adjusting the width or height alone.

If you were curious, testing this tool on my computer shows that Firefox suffers next to no performance lag while Chrome suffers a little, and Internet Explorer is just horrendous.
