these are my plans for the site when I have some time:
These are written mostly to remind me of what I need to do, don't worry if you don't understand some of it. All you really need to know is there will be changes, for the better.
UPDATE: I redid the graphics for the new template tonight.
move it over to http://blank.me/
update menu with new "checktree" script. (may have to find another script depending on how it works)
increase page width to fit a 1024x768 screen, or possibly just 100% it. (this will involve some image manipulation, or making a new header image, unfortunately.)
make the menu a little wider (200-250px).
change pages to use SSI headers and footers. (right now I have it setup to use SSI for the menu's and content table cell, I want to change it so that everything that's before the content cell will be in one header file, and everything after that content cell will be in one footer file.)
May need to have two or more footers since you can't nest SSI includes. I need to look into possible better ways to handle all this rather than using multiple includes since that can be rather confusing at times.
Incorporate a PHPBB3 installation into the design of the site. I plan on requiring an admin to create accounts based on direct e-mail requests. There are far too many bot spammers out there.
use this PHPBB installation to manage news submissions and comments.
incorporate screenshot archive into design of site. Possibly look for more robust script that will work the way I want it to work. (click on a thumbnail that will bring up a fullsize version of image that's sized to 100% width so as not to distort the site design, then if you click on that, it will link directly to the source image.)
Time for something new that's also hilarious and makes no sense. "The Tortilla Assassin" come's to mind.

| Firefox likes to take 100% width and force it onto a new line, and * width to mean take only as much as it needs. This text is in here to force FF to display 100% the same way that IE does. Ghetto fix FTW! OMG! a hidden counter! Views:
